Thanks to all who joined us as CTBUH Texas went inside one of Houston’s most advanced new towers - the Norton Rose Fulbright Building.
Designed by BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group and developed by Skanska USA Commercial Development, this LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum, and Fitwel 3-Star landmark is setting a new standard for sustainable, high-performance workplace design.
With its side-core layout, panoramic views of Discovery Green Park, and biophilic integration of park and workspace, the NRF Tower showcases the next evolution of healthy, human-centered office environments - offering 30% more fresh air, 100% hourly air exchange, and a 45% reduction in embodied carbon compared to the industry baseline.
We started with a building tour led by Jenna Dezinski, Senior Designer and Lead Architect at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group and Brandon D. Hendricks, Development Manager at Skanska USA Commercial Development, then lite bites and refreshments, followed by a panel discussion with Jenna and Brandon moderated by Mide Akinsade, AIA, NCARB, NOMA, RIBA, LEED AP, CTBUH Houston leader, in The Summit Event Space: https://lnkd.in/dB-ps_ah.
It was spectacular!
