Think of ENGAGE as a professional networking platform exclusively for the CVU community—similar to LinkedIn or Facebook, but focused entirely on the people shaping the built environment.
How to Connect with Someone
- Log in to ENGAGE and search for a member using the Member Directory, a community member list, or by clicking on a user's name in a discussion or library post.
- Open the person's profile.
- Click Add as Contact to send a connection request.
- The recipient will receive an email invitation asking them to connect.
- Once they accept your request, they will be added to your Contacts list.
You can also receive connection requests from other users. Simply accept the invitation to begin networking and messaging within ENGAGE.
Make the Most of Your Network
- Complete your profile and keep it up to date.
- Review your privacy settings to control what information other users can see.
- Search for colleagues, speakers, and fellow members you've met at CVU events.
- Join communities and participate in discussions to meet new contacts.
- Visit My Connections in your profile to view, message, and manage your contacts.
