Across Europe and Mediterranean Africa, new office and mixed-use developments are pointing assertively towards the future while capitalizing on the rich assets of the past. In Luxembourg, the new European Investment Bank building redefines the workplace by integrating landscape, public space, and light-filled interiors to create a highly sustainable, connected, and experience-driven office environment. In Rabat, the 250-meter Tour Mohammed VI is key to the “City of Light” master plan, evoking a rocket emerging from a launchpad. The mixed-use tower features integrated photovoltaic panels on its façade. In Milan, CityWave’s two office buildings form a gateway to the CityLife master plan, with a dramatic sweeping 140-meter roof, entirely clad with photovoltaic panels.
